Attack Zone Hockey - RapidShot training

RapidShot

Skills: puck reception, reaction time, puck speed, accuracy, evaluation

RapidShot is a patented hockey training system that automatically passes and collects pucks. There are 8 pass speeds and intervals for all skill levels to train snap shot, wrist shot, backhand and one-timers.

RapidShot is the only professional shooting system in the world that measures accuracy, shot speed and reaction time, leading the way in hockey skills training and analytics.

What is the difference to traditional shooting practice? The RapidShot Hockey Training System can pass up to 800 pucks per hour and give feedback through the RapidShot mobile app on every shot. There is no wasted time collecting pucks. "Skill development is necessary at all levels, but team practices often do not provide sufficient time for shooting development. Off-ice RapidShot training provides the perfect complement to on-ice practice."

Attack Zone Hockey - RapidHands training

RapidHands

Skills: stick handling

Produced by the makers of RapidShot, the RapidHands training system utilized embedded sensors in synthetic ice to track and record the movement of the puck.

RapidHands presents a series of sixteen stick handling targets, and measures your performance based on your hand speed and puck precision. These measurements are converted into points based on your performance.

When the system asks a player to stickhandle over a specific target, the puck activates the sensor, informing the software that the maneuver has been performed.  It also allows players to work on their transition from stick handling to passing on both sides of the stick.  Scores are recorded, performance is measured and feedback is provided to gauge the player’s progress and shows how they rank with respect to their peers.
